If your card is lost or stolen, you are not liable for any unauthorised usage so long as you tell us quickly. So, go into the app and lock the card asap (tap on the card icon & 'slide to lock'). If you've not got access to the app, call us right away on 1800946527 (or +61 2 8598 8525 if overseas). Also, Xinja and our partner Indue monitor potentially fraudulent activity ongoing, and if we have good reason to suspect it, we'll suspend your prepaid card asap and let you know. Likewise, if you suspect fraud, lock the card and/or let us know the right way. Again, as long as you tell us reasonably quickly, you won't be liable for fraudulent transactions. Please note that funds stored with Indue (our partner and the authorised deposit-taking institution that holds the prepaid card money) are NOT covered under the Australia Government's Financial Claims Scheme, as this scheme only applies to deposit accounts.
